LEPAGóN Barro Bracelet

Big solid bracelet made of brass in Spain. Masive brass in contact with skin is a very interesting experience, because brass is often cold, but it becomes warmy with your temperature slowly, and this is a kind relationship… This bracelet seems to adap to your wrist´s bone. This way you put it different from your left arm to your right arm. Is like a sensual dance betwen your wrist and your sculpture.

Adjustable and with a nice weight. Made in Spain. Lost-wax casting cire perdue process. This serie is about mud and Castilla la Mancha farmlands. It seems something you can modeled with your hands. That is why for this serie, y made the prototype hand-modeled in soft wax and after foundry procces, esculpted directly in brass.

I like to think it is like a potter work but with metal. Due to this process, the surface is irregular, with foundry pores and scars, preciously imperfect and masive.
