Jinushi Junko and Kato Kyoko, who worked as textile designers, started the brand when they began working together to create costumes and accessories for magazines and advertisements. The brand name, which means appetizer in Italian cuisine, is inspired by the desire to stimulate the enjoyment of fashion, as accessories are like appetizers in fashion, where clothing is the main dish. ANTI-PAST also means "not the past" = toward the future, and the brand creates original designs that allow people to enjoy styling freely.
