Model 66

1966's Standard Fit Jeans One Wash Indigo

Orslow's version of the classic Levi's 501 model 66, one of the first styles that changed the rivets on the back for bartacks, it was only made from 1966 to 1971. but it really set the tone for jeans being a fashion item instead of a piece of workwear.

It's made out of a rinsed 14Oz selvedge denim which has a rougher texture than the classic 105 model and was designed to fade like the 60's denim it's referencing. The fit has a slightly higher rise, a relaxed topblock and a clean line and a very light taper.

These jeans are crafted with selvedge denim woven on shuttle looms in Japan, using spun yarn analyzed from vintage jeans.Over time, through wear and washing, they develop an aging effect reminiscent of jeans from 1966.
