Named “Gauguin,” this shirt reflects two contrasting worlds: Paris and Tahiti, elegance and resort. It is designed around the concept of an “elegant aloha shirt.”

The fabric is the brand’s signature Hardmans linen, known for its exceptional quality, minimal surface fuzz, and natural sheen. Lightweight and breathable, the material offers a cool and comfortable feel with a subtle, luminous texture.

The shirt features a semi-wide collar and a concealed placket, creating a refined and understated front. By eliminating chest pockets and back detailing, the design embraces a minimal aesthetic with a subtle European sensibility.

Its relaxed sleeves, boxy hem, and half-length sleeves create a silhouette with an effortless resort character. The cuffs are finished with two adjustable buttons, allowing the sleeve volume to be adjusted.

Herdmans Linen

Herdmans is an Irish linen spinning company founded in 1835, known for producing some of the world’s finest linen. Hardmans linen is characterized by its beautiful natural sheen and minimal surface fuzz.

This quality comes from the use of only long flax fibers. During production, flax fibers undergo scutching (removing unnecessary material by beating the bundles) and hackling (combing the fibers), separating them into long fibers (line flax) and short fibers (tow).

Herdmans primarily uses only the long fibers, resulting in approximately 40% material loss during processing. This meticulous selection produces exceptionally high-quality yarn with a smooth surface and refined luster.
