Crafted from soft cotton-blend velour, each piece is individually hand-dyed using kago-zome, a rare traditional Japanese basket-dyeing technique practised by only a small number of artisans today. Unlike conventional shibori dyeing, kago-zome produces irregular, spontaneous patterns, allowing colours to blend and overlap in unexpected ways. Variations in tone and intensity give every garment its own distinctive character, making each piece truly unique.

The velour fabric brings a gentle sheen and soft, tactile richness to the expressive colour combinations. Its fluid texture beautifully complements the organic patterns, creating a subtle interplay between light, colour and movement.

Designed with a softly structured high neckline and a discreet zip closure at the back, the pullover features generous proportions through the shoulders, sleeves and body. The silhouette gently narrows at the cuffs and hem, creating a relaxed, softly gathered shape.
