Founded in 2010, Misu A Barbe is a conceptual knitwear label that reimagines the role of knit, yarn, and fabric in our daily lives. With a focus on craftsmanship and artistic vision, the brand offers handmade knitwear and pieces created from diverse woven textiles—each one inviting a shift in how we perceive the ordinary.

At the heart of Misu A Barbe lies a simple yet powerful idea: to awaken a new point of view between the everyday and the ideal. Designer and founder Misu Kim, born in Seoul and based in Paris since 2006, draws from her background with avant-garde houses such as Maison Martin Margiela, Bless, and Bernhard Willhelm. Her approach blends the poetic with the practical—clothing imagined not just for display, but for life, meant to coexist with the familiar and add a spark to the routine.
