WASHED CANVAS 6 POCKETS TOTE 

A tall tote made from AMIACALVA’s original No. 6 canvas, densely woven in Japan on traditional shuttle looms using AMIACALVA’s original combed yarn.

The canvas is treated with a dipping process that impregnates paraffin deep into the fibres, followed by a bio-wash treatment that gives the fabric its distinctive washed texture.

Because the paraffin remains within the fibres even after the bio-wash process, the canvas develops a naturally washed appearance while retaining enough structure for the bag to stand independently. This creates a unique balance between a relaxed, worn-in texture and a functional, self-standing form.

The tote features six pockets in total, with three on the front and three on the inside, providing practical storage and easy organisation.

The simple yet distinctive design also makes use of the selvedge produced by the shuttle loom, adding a subtle detail to the construction.
