Intricate and delicate, Japanese maker Antipast creates a unique luxury experience with their textile focused designs.

Created by textile designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, Antipast came to be in 1991 out of the creative energy the two felt when collaborating on accessories and costumes for magazines. Their made-in-Japan hosiery and knitwear offers a nostalgic and poetic approach, working beautiful and light designs into their knit jacquards. With reference to the popular Italian appetizer that sets the anticipation for the meal to come, Antipast inspires the wearer to weave beauty in personal expression and reflects the two Japanese designers desire to help the fashion world blossom.

The gorgeous and luxurious textile is embroidered with multicolored botanical patterns on a velvet base. 

The waist is made of elastic for an easy fit, but the unique elegance of the material makes these pants feel luxurious.
